All you need to know about Conscious Connected Breathwork.
Conscious Connected Breathwork is simple at its core: continuous belly breathing through the mouth, usually between 45–60 minutes, without pauses between the inhale and the exhale. This style naturally increases your energy, shifts your chemistry, and takes you into deeper layers of yourself, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
Because the breath is connected, it builds momentum. Because it’s through the mouth, it’s activating. Because it’s belly-first, it’s grounding. And because it’s continuous, it becomes a doorway into everything your body is ready to release or reveal.
WHY CHOOSE BREATHWORK?
Emotional release
The breath stirs what the body has been holding. This helps release sadness, anger, grief, or pressure you’ve been carrying without needing to “think through it.” It’s a somatic detox, the whole spectrum of emotions can arise and are welcome in these sessions.
Trauma & tension discharge
Sympathetic activation (your “fight-or-flight” system) briefly increases during CCB. This is intentional and therapeutic. When this activation is paired with safety, your body can finally discharge trapped survival energy. For example, through shaking, heat, or intuitive movement, similar to what happens in TRE tremor therapy. This frees up space for calm and regulation.

⚠️ Contraindications & Modified Options
If you have certain conditions, a gentler, nose breathing version of the practice can be safer. Some people with contraindications actually experience the biggest transformations—they just need a tailored approach.

- Panic attacks (breathwork can still help—just let me know in advance)
- Epilepsy or history of seizures
- Schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or psychosis
- Heart disease, heart attack, stroke, aneurysm (brain/abdomen), or other serious cardiovascular issues
- Recent surgery or unhealed injury
- Glaucoma or detached retina
- Asthma (unless you have your inhaler with you)
- Pregnancy (especially early or complicated)
- Uncontrolled diabetes, thyroid issues, or high blood pressure
